You should know what you're eating, but the food industry has made it complicated. Here's what I want: nutrition and convenience. Here's the ultimate problem. Sometimes it's just too much work to search for the healthiest foods.  I get it. We lose sight of our own personal goals because we are too busy dealing with day to day responsibilities. Let's just order pizza! Most people give up their attempts at being healthy because it's a heck of a lot more convenient to reach for the fast food. Who really wants to endure the long process of teaching yourself how to get used to the idea of deprivation? Nobody. So what happens? After a few decades of poor choices your body begins to break down. You lose focus, you lack energy. Pretty soon you start to feel aches and pains in different places. You chalk it up to getting older. It's natural to put on some pounds, right? (Wrong!) These are signs of malnutrition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So you decide enough is enough, and you begin a new exercise regimen. Surely, this is the answer. I know so many people that spend hours at the gym doing cardio with very little to show for it. How is it that you can do all the right things and still see no progress? Again, it all leads back to malnutrition. Exercise makes you hungry, so why are you torturing yourself by trying to exercise more and eat less? Food is fuel. It gives you energy. The battle is between physiology (what your body knows) and willpower (what you think you know.)  The body wins every time. Some people are just naturally thin - it's in their genes. The rest of us struggle every day with what to eat because we know our choices will determine how our clothes fit the next day. You will be relieved to know that the reason why you don't feel like exercising is not because you are lazy, and the reason why you are hungry all the time is not because you are a pig.

 

It's because your body is compensating for not getting the right nutrients, and your body is in control.

Who has time for health? You need simple answers, easy changes, and you need to know why it's important. There's just too much conflicting information out there. On a personal note, I have to confess that I am the world's worst cheater. I love food - I can't help it. No matter how hard I have worked to improve my diet and exercise habits, I have been known to cave if the circumstances are right - when I'm tired, or angry, or bored. We all need a little help, and you have to make peace with yourself when you "fall off the wagon" at the sight of a chocolate fountain while visiting your favorite Chinese Buffet. It's okay! By now, I'm hoping there's a little voice in your head saying: "What if ?" I know, I have to  admit that when a strange happy energetic woman was telling me about Isagenix, like I'm telling you now, I was skeptical.
